The project land use is tight, and there is no possibility to expand to the surrounding area. Therefore, in the design of the whole playground, the surrounding activity platform and teaching building three floor plane, the underlying canteen, library, wind and rain playground, a guest center space, and through a public communication corridor will each function throughout, realize multi-functional composite, effectively save land resources, make full use of the existing site.
An interactive place to promote learning and communication
The ground floor is partially overhead, and a variety of interactive Spaces are implanted inside the building: the corridor communication box, the platform of each floor is expanded, the ground floor mobile library, the semi-outdoor reading space, the roof plantation, etc.,to create a pleasant communication space, and effectively promote the improvement of students' interest in learning.
Cultural and sports facilities open to the community
The project is planned to provide the concession public space for the city at the entrance, and use the ground floor overhead to provide enough distribution space for the parents and the residents of the surrounding communities. The boundary of sharing facilities such as campus playground, storm playground and auditorium is connected with the community and open to the community, which is conducive to sharing and communication and the improvement of space vitality.
Reflect the regional cultural of southern Fujian
The architectural design fully considers the regional characteristics of southern Fujian, and draws design inspiration from the arcade, patio, swallow-tail brick and other elements. Local overhead to form a well-ventilated ground floor space, set up the inner courtyard to effectively improve the microclimate. The facade of the building is made of red brick, simple shape, harmonious and bright color, showing the regional cultural characteristics.
Green and low-carbon education and growth environment
The top of the building is set with roof farm, solar photovoltaic panels, vertical greening, and rainwater garden, which effectively reduces carbon emissions, creating multiple Spaces for interaction between man and nature, and shaping a beautiful environment for students and the campus to grow together.
