The United World Colleges (UWC) is a unique global education movement in the world. It brings together young elites from different races, religions, political opinions or rich and poor backgrounds from all over the world to live and study together, and to contribute to enhancing international understanding and promoting human peace. The project site is located in Guixiang garden, west of Kuncheng lake, Changshu high tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 42000 square meters. The total construction area of the project is about 58000 square meters, including 32000 square meters of teaching area and 25000 square meters of residential area. In addition, the outdoor sports area is 15400 square meters. It is mainly used by 520 three-year full boarding school students, 390 junior day students and 50-60 families of international teachers. 

Design vision ：

(1) to create a complex and charming campus environment. It can carry functional, cultural, ecological, social and psychological needs. 

(2) The combination of environmental scale, spatial scale, architectural scale and terrain creates exquisite and interesting multi-level space. 

(3) Traditional Chinese elements such as gardens, geomantic omen and villages are integrated into the design. 

(4) The campus will be built into a harmonious whole like a home, and it will also become a landmark educational community in Changshu.
